Our scheduled accommodation had been double booked, and we were desperately phoning round to find somewhere to sleep. Stumbled across Yesterdays guest house. Was received by Moira, a lovely lady who tried to de-stress us and told us about local eating places and take aways. The room we had was Number 1, clean and airy. Bed was comfortable and we got a very good night's sleep. For £75 for both of us excellent value. We didn't have breakfast there as the place that has double booked us had offered free breakfast, but a man was eating breakfast and it looked and smelled delicious. If you are looking for cheap accommodation with a friendly host I'd recommend Yesterday's. Thanks Moira xxx

Stayed here a few times now and it's always been absolutely lovely. The rooms are comfortable and very thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need, in the morning the cooked breakfast is delicious and reasonably priced. One negative is that the town centre location means Friday & Saturday nights can be noisy, but this didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at Healy Recommended in Newtown for six weeks as part of my placement, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly supportive, and the overall stay was very comfortable. I’d especially like to highlight Moyra—she is one of the loveliest women I’ve ever met. From day one, she treated me like family, not just a guest. Her kindness and care made a huge difference in my stay, and I’m forever grateful for how she went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and supported. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm, caring environment!

A nice, clean and cosy bed and breakfast. Owner/staff were really friendly and helpful. Location is a short walk from the centre of town, so really convenient. Rooms were a little dated, but were well equipped, comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my stay and would be very happy to stay here again.

Lovely little place. Me and my family had a few rooms here and they were lovely. It was clean, tidy and our breakfast was really nice. The lady who I can only assume owns the hotel was an absolute pleasure. I would definitely stay here again.
